A highly decorative set of six Regency open armchairs with black painted & gilt finish - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

This set of chairs each consist of a rounded top rail leading down to a central pierced quatrefoil back splat with painted floral decoration with reeded columns to either side.

The shaped arm rails are supported by turned arm supports with painted gilt decoration leading down to caned seats, these are in good condition for age and all have a removable deep button cushion in a lemon silk fabric - if necessary these cushions could easily be changed once purchased.

This leads down to painted and gilt seat rails with turned and tapering outswept legs to the front with gilt decoration to the collar and outswept legs to the back.

This set of chairs are in very good condition for age with evidence of some paint & gilt retouching over the years, they are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
