A mid 19th century highly decorative ormolu and marble inkwell with Regency and Rococo influences - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

The inkwell consists of a circular ormolu inkwell, the lid and finial with foliate decoration, the bowl with harebell decoration (liner missing), this being supported by a dolphin to either side.

The dolphins are supported by a white marble base with ormolu ball bead edge.

This piece is in very good condition for age and can go straight into a home and would be an ideal accessory to any desk.
