A fine quality late 18th century Georgian mahogany chest on chest with superb faded patina - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

This chest on chest consists of a moulded cornice above a dental moulding leading down to the top section having two short over three long drawers, the cockbeaded drawers consisting of finely figured mahogany veneered fronts with oak linings and original fine quality and decorative gilt brass handles and escutcheons.

The top section also has canted corners to either side of the drawers with carved scroll decoration to the top which is a nice feature.

The lower section having three long graduated drawers, the chest standing on original pierced bracket feet of unusual design both to the front and back.

This chest on chest is in excellent original condition, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
