An early 19th century mahogany bow front chest of drawers of good patina (colour) - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

This chest of drawers consists of a fine quality well figured mahogany top with mahogany cross banding and boxwood stringing.

This leads down to four bow front graduated drawers with cock beads to the fronts, each oak lined with central escutcheon and two oval brass handles (replaced at some time).

To the sides of the drawers is a mahogany panel with box wood stringing decoration and the side panels are mahogany with mahogany stringing.

The chest of drawers is supported by four turned feet.

The chest is of stable construction and is in very good condition for age.
