A highly decorative late 19th/early 20th century Middle Eastern Damascus inlaid armchair of superb patina - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

This chair consists of a rounded back profusely inlaid with decorative mosaic geometric designs in excellent condition.

These designs, typical of the Middle Eastern and Damascus area, are created by inlaying various exotic woods such as walnut olive, ebony and mother of pearl.

The seat is solid walnut with an inlaid diamond design leading down to the base and legs.

The base is architectural in design with inlaid panels and roundels creating the design with profusely inlaid legs.

The chair is in excellent condition, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home or collection.
