An early 20th century highly decorative walnut console table / side table in the William & Mary style. ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

This table consists of a mirror veneered walnut top with cross banding, supported by a cushion shaped moulding with two drawers underneath.

The drawers are also of cushion moulded design and are oak lined with decorative handles depicting angels.

The top is supported by gilt Corinthian capitals leading down to scroll shaped legs with carved wooden & gilt embellishments of acanthus decoration.

At the base is a gilt metal work decorative stretcher of scrolled design with a central fleur de lys.

This table is in very good condition,of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
