Late 17th century carved oak coffer

A late 17th century/early 18th century oak coffer with panelled carved front - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW. 

The two plank top is of good patina (colour) and the sides each consist of two panels.

The top rail has a carved arcaded design with three panels underneath each with a carved roundel design.

There are other carved designs leading down to extended stile supports with shaped brackets.

The piece has a lock plate although this is not original.

The interior has a candlebox and the back is also panelled.
   
This piece is in good condition for age, of stable construction and can go straight into a property.
