An extremely fine late 19thc Chinese root wood carving of the God of Longevity, Shoulou.

The immortal holds a staff and a peach with a crane at his feet & a boy is with him holding a bat.

This piece is of very fine quality.

Minor restoration has taken place to the beak of the crane.
