An early 20thc Syrian ( also known as Damascus furniture) octagonal inlaid occasional table.

This table is very decorative with various inlays of geometric designs in exotic woods & mother-of-pearl. The central pattern resembles a star, surrounded by an octagonal design. Surrounding this are eight rectanglar decorative panels & also chequered decoration.

The base consists of more inlaid designs.

This table is of sound construction & is in excellent order & has been repolished.
