Highly decorative Continental mid 19thc bronzed copper satyr mask, of large proportions and of exceptional quality.
The satyr is part human, part goat, usually having small horns and pointed ears. He is often depicted as an attendant to Bacchus.
This piece would be very effective mounted on a wall as a statement piece.
