18th mahogany blanket chest

Dimensions:

An 18th mahogany blanket chest of fine colour.
There is a brass escutcheon plate on the front and brass handles on the sides.
The lid & sides have a caddy moulding and it sits on a moulded plynth.
The interior has a hidden area comprisinng of 3 sectioned compartments covered with a removable mahogany cover. These have been added at a later date, possibly early 20thc.
