The oval back comprises of a carved wooden & painted frame with original floral tapestry upholstery depicting roses.
This leads down to the seat area, the tapestry continuing with a tapestry cushion also with rose design.
The arms have upholstered arm rests, the arms being supported by carved acanthus & reeded shaped & painted supports.
The seat rails are carved & shaped with a painted finish.
Underneath this is a square carved flower decoration on each corner.
The chair is supported by four turned & fluted & stop fluted painted tapering legs, terminating on a turned foot.
All woodwork is finished with original paintwork in pale green tones.
This chair came from the same property as the pair of chairs, Ref LVS 250 & are very similar to this one, with the same upholstery.
The sides are also covered in the tapestry upholstery & the back is finished in a pale silk, although somewhat worn, due to exposure to UV light.
The chair has been left in it's original condition but an upholsterer can always replace the fabric for you if necessary.
This chair is of stable contruction & can go straight into a home.
