This highly decorative mirror consists of a finely carved ebonised eagle cresting on a naturalistic support with outswept carved acanthus decoration to either side.

This leads down to a large circular giltwood frame with ebonised star border, recessed ball decoration and egg and dart inner moulding with ebonised reeded slip and circular bevelled plate in good condition with scrolling carved acanthus decoration below.

To either side scrolling candle branches with foliate decoration, the candle holders having evidence of past electrification.

This mirror is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
