A fine quality set of thirteen early 19th century Regency (circa 1815) simulated rosewood dining chairs with good, original colour - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This set of chairs of simulated rosewood on beech consist of a shaped top rail with finely carved central anthemion design with shaped and carved scrolling decoration to either side with turned paterae and a shaped back support.
The shaped uprights with turned paterae to the top leading down to drop-in seats finished in a neutral fabric leading down to a turned front seat rail with sabre legs to both the front and back.
This set of chairs are in very good condition for age, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home – the fabric on the seats can easily be changed once purchased if required.
