A large early 19th century Continental rustic treen birch platter with handles of exceptional patina - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This piece has a dug-out bowl and has two carrying handles with an old repair to the rim.
There are traces of the original red paint wash to parts of the outside & underneath.
This platter is in good condition for age.
