A superb mid 19th century pollard oak centre/tilt top table in the Gothic style with fine patina - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This unusual table has a sixteen sided top consisting of sixteen segments of superbly figured pollard oak of fine patina with pollard oak banding leading down to a shaped frieze, the top can either be secured down or tilted.
The table is supported by a finely carved octagonal oak column of typical Gothic style consisting of recessed ecclesiastical arches with pollard oak veneer leading down to foliate carving with moulded edge below all supported on quatre-form base terminating with four foliate carved feet
This table is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
