This table is a rare example of its type as it is unusual to find a drop leaf table design table of this size, the design makes this table very versatile for a piece of furniture of this age.
The table consists of a well figured ash top, possibly from a single plank, and then cut to form a central section with a leaf to either side, the leaves are supported by oak pull out shaped brackets.
This leads down to the oak base, the table being supported by four elegant square tapering legs of outswept form.
This table is in very good original condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
