An elegant late 18th/early 19th century Sheraton period rosewood occasional table - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

This table consists of a rosewood top with ebony and boxwood stringing, satinwood banding, further ebony and boxwood stringing with outer rosewood cross banding.

This leads down to one drawer to the front with ebony, boxwood and satinwood inlaid decoration, the drawer opening to reveal a fitted interior consisting of various compartments with a sliding shelf below, the sides and back all having the same ebony, boxwood and satinwood inlaid decoration.

The table having four elegant finely turned supports leading down to a concave shaped shelf
with ebony, boxwood and satinwood inlaid decoration all supported on outswept supports terminating on brass castors.

This table is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
