A 19thc Anglo-Indian carved hardwood eight-sided folding occasional table.
The top detaches from the base and the base folds flat.
The base has four pierced and scroll shaped legs consisting of intricate carving of foliage, flowers and berries.
There is also a carved finnial at the bottom of the central section.
The top has a plain central eight-sided panel. Surrounding this is profuse foliage carving of exceptionally fine detail.
A border surrounds this with intricate leaf decoration and around this is a shaped and stamped border design.
This is a decorative and practical piece.
