A late 19th century hardwood square Chinese pot stand with marble insert, of excellent quality - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
The marble has a reddish/pink tone and is recessed into the top, the top being of a square moulded design wth carved ball decoration.
This leads down to a shaped frieze with carved floral & foliage designs, the top of each leg has the face of an open-mouthed dragon leading down to foliage carved decoration terminating with scrolls.
These lead down to a square shelf, the four legs terminating with a ball & claw foot.
This piece is of stable construction and is in very good condition.
