This chair consists of a beech frame painted with a simulated rosewood finish to replicate the grain of rosewood .
The back rail has a carved scrolling design to the centre with carved oak leaf decoration.
This leads down to the backrest, armrests and seat, all upholstered in a good quality green damask fabric.
The scrolling arm supports are carved with oak leaves with stylised tulip decoration beneath.
These lead down to the moulded front rail with carved square blocks to either end leading down to the bulbous & reeded front legs, the back legs are of splay form and terminate on four porcelain castors.
The fabric is in fairly good condition with just a couple of marks, one can be seen on the front left side of the seat. If the fabric is not suitable it can easily be re-upholstered once purchased by an upholsterer in your choice of fabric.
