A superb quality William IV mahogany inverted breakfront bookcase of small proportions.
This bookcase consists of a top and bottom section, the top section has a moulded cornice with a superb curl mahogany veneered frieze supported by four glazed doors.
All doors are glazed with original glass and have a brass moulding framing the glass, the doors having original locks and keys.
The outer doors have wonderful quality curl veneered columns with carved capitals, the inner doors again having superb quality veneers.
The lower section, again of inverted form, also has superb quality veneers and replicates the design of the top section, terminating with a wonderful curl veneered plinth.
This bookcase can be used to display a book collection or equally could be used as a display cabinet.
The interior has a cream silk inserts but these are removable.
This piece is in excellent condition and is ready to go straight into a home or office.
