A set of six late 18th century fine quality ash country chairs of good patina with rush seats.
These chairs, although of provincial origin, possibly Lancashire, are of a sophisticated design.
The top rail is shaped with turned uprights with a shaped & pierced back splat.
The legs are round in design with turned pateras at the top of the front legs leading down to ball feet with a turned front stretcher.
The chairs are all structurally sound, the rush seats are all in good condition and these are ready to go straight into a home.
We have photographed the chairs with a Welsh farmhouse table in oak which compliment each other very well - they can be purchased as separate items or together - the price of the table and chairs is £4200.00. Further images and information on the table can be found on my website.
