A rare fine quality early 19th century Regency burr oak tilt top table - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

This super table consists of a finely figured and patinated burr oak veneered top with ebony stringing with finely figured oak banding and reeded edge below, the top can be either down or tilted .

The top is supported by a finely carved baluster column consisting of carved twist decoration with a turned collar and carved gadroon design below, leading down to a tripod base, each tapering leg having turned decoration with applied paterae, terminating on original brass hairy paw feet and castors.

This table is in excellent condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
