A pair of highly decorative late 19thc fine quality brown onyx & ormolu urns of small proportion in the Classical Style.
These urns comprise of a gilt liner with a gadrooned top edging leading down to a turned brown onyx collar.
These are supported by gilt columns which have fine leaf decoration.
The bases are of ormolu gadrooned design with ormolu Grecian style handles.
The urns stand on a stepped moulded onyx square base with ormolu panels of Gladitorial scenes on the front.
The condition is excellent other than a very small chip on the right hand corner of the left urn base (on first photo).
