A decorative mid 19th century French console table in the Rococo style ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This table consists of a thick verde antico marble top in excellent condition.
The base, of typical Rococo style, consists of a scrolling, carved front rail with central scallop decoration with ormolu mount - this same design & decoration is also replicated on the sides of the table.
The front legs are shaped & scrolling in design with floral ormolu decoration terminating with a scroll toe with ormolu patera at each side.
The back legs are shaped but plain with a shaped stretcher below and central carved scallop and rose decoration.
The base has a painted finish in a cream tone, the table is structurally sound and can go straight into a home.
