A late 19thc mahogany tilt top table of superb quality with fine carved base.
The top consists of four excellent figured mahogany quarter veneer panels with inner and outer mahogany banding. These are framed by a serpentine shaped and finely carved gadrooned edge.
The base again of excellent quality, has a fluted and reeded decoration supported by a finely carved tripod base.
This table, although late 19thc almost has a feel of an 18thc piece due to the style, quality of carving and fine patina (colour).
