An English late 19thc rosewood bijouterie table of fine quality in the French style.
This decorative piece is of a serpentine shape on all sides & the top has inlaid designs of shells & decorative scrolls.
The bevelled glass lid has a decorative ormolu moulding surrounding it. The table has a key so the piece can be locked.
The interior has a red fabric at present but this could easliy be changed to a fabric of your choice.
Each of the front, back & side shaped glass panels is framed with the same decorative ormolu moulding.
Each of the rails is shaped & at the top of each leg is a good quality ormolu mount.
The tapering cabriole legs terminiate with an ormolu mount with a central shelf at the bottom inlaid with a floral & foliage design.

This table is of very good condition & stable construction.
