These chairs consist of a typical Gothic style arched back with piercing leading down to inswept arm supports.
The elm seats are shaped and lead down to two cabriole legs at the front with pad feet and turned back legs joined with a crinoline stretcher.
The Gothic Windsor, the quintessential English chair, has always been considered as an important style in Windsor furniture and were often found in taverns and universities.
