An unusual and highly decorative late 18th century mahogany side table of good patina with later applied brass paterae and mount decoration, the table dating to around 1790 and the mounts probably added around 1820-1830 - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
The table consists of a mahogany top of good patina with a moulded edge leading down to a drawer to the front with applied brass floral and foliate paterae and mounts, the same paterae and mounts carried around to the sides of the table and are also applied on the four tapering legs.
This table is in good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home - please note the table has a couple of mounts missing from the legs.
