A French late 19th century Louis XVI style Kingwood moulded breakfront commode.
This piece consists of a Breche d'Alep marble top (this marble originates from the Pyrenees area), again breakfront in shape which is in very good condition.
The commode has cantered corners in cross grained tulip wood and to the top decorative ormolu mounts with inlaid panelled ends to the side.
The commode has three long drawers with Kingwood veneered panels, mahogany edging and stringing with original gilt metal handles and ormolu escutcheons and is in good condition.
This piece is in very good condition and can go straight into a home.
