A highly decorative 19thc eight branch ormolu (gilt-bronze) chandelier in the style of Louis XIV, in the manner of Andre Charles Boulle.
The central column has four cherub faces with acanthus scroll brackets.
There are female faces & acanthus scrolls leading to eight scroll arms terminating in cast drip trays leading to a candle shaped light fitting.
This is electrfied & working but it is recomended that this is checked by an electrician before fitting.
The piece also has its' own ceiling rose also in gilt-bronze. This is not shown as not adequate height on this celing. If required a photograph can be taken & forwarded to you.
This piece is very fine quality and is in very good condition.
