This stand consists of a circular mahogany top with moulded edge supported by four finely carved fluted and stop fluted ionic columns.
This leads down to a finely turned urn with removable lid supported by two small serpentine shaped drawers with brass knob handles, with square fluted block supports to each corner leading down to turned and carved columns with gun barrel design and ball bead decoration below.
This leads down to a tray with a shaped edge, the stand supported by four finely carved cabriole legs with foliate decoration and terminating with a ball and claw foot.
This stand is in excellent condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight onto a home - it is a very versatile piece and could have many uses as a stand, torchere etc.
