An early 19thc good quality mahogany console table/serving table of nice proportions.

This piece has a well figured, veneered mahogany top with a lipped plate support to the back.

This leads down to a fine quality cross grain veneer edge supported by a mahogany moulding.

Underneath is a superb quality frieze consisting of two concealed frieze drawers with a curl mahogany panel to the centre with carved mahogany rosettes at each end.

This leads down to an old mirror plate, framed by mahogany reeded back supports.

The front supports are scroll in shape and finely carved with a leaf design, terminating with a scroll foot.  
 

The piece is supported by a figured & veneered plynth of concave shape with patera at either end.

This piece is of very good condition and stable construction and can go straight into a home.
