Sold

An early 19th century mahogany partners desk of good proportion.

This desk consists of an inset green leather top with gold tooled decoration surrounded by a moulded, cross banded mahogany edge.

To each side of the desk are three drawers across the top with pedestals to each side, the pedestals standing on a moulded plinth.

The pedestals have panelled ends both to the inside as well as the outside which makes the desk a very versatile piece.

The pedestals can be placed as shown in the photographs here with drawers and a cupboard to each side, or alternatively can be turned so all drawers are on one side and therefore both cupboards are on the opposite side depending on your preference.

This desk is of fine colour and in good, original condition and can go straight into a home or office.
