A decorative pair of 19th century mahogany jardinieres of demilune form - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
The jardinieres consist of a crossbanded mahogany top with demilune removable tin liners to the interior.
The top leads down to a decorative giltwood egg and dart moulding, the rounded mahogany fronts having three rectangular panels of curl mahogany veneer surrounded with giltwood mouldings.
Each jardiniere is supported by four ormolu paw feet.
The jardinieres can either be displayed separately or together to form a circle to form a centre piece on a large table
They would also be ideal displayed on large window sills or very decorative planters for a pair of console tables, they could also be used as wine coolers.
These items are both in very good original condition and can go straight into a home.
