An early/mid 19th century rosewood X-frame stool of fine quality and elegant design - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This stool consists of a padded seat, recently upholstered in a cream and black striped fabric, surrounded by a rosewood moulding (the fabric can easily be changed by an upholsterer once purchased, if necessary).
This leads down to two X-frame supports with carved paterae to the top with a turned supporting rail.
The central section of the X-frame has a fine quality carved decoration of a rosette patera supported by a turned rail of the same design to the rails at the top.
The legs scroll down to a pad style foot.
This stool is in very good condition and can go straight into a home.
