An excellent quality late 19th century French Empire mahogany and brass etagere with marble top - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This etagere consists of an original shaped and moulded rouge marble top leading down to a frieze with three concealed drawers all with brass mouldings, a central drawer with two either side, the two to either side swing open.
This leads down to three mahogany shelves of bow form each having a pierced brass gallery, the end panels also being of bow shape.
The etagere has square panels to the back and supports to both the front and back all having brass fluted decoration leading down to two turned mahogany feet to the front with square feet to the back, all being original.
This etagere would be an ideal display unit for a variety of items, maybe even for cakes and pastries etc.
This piece is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home or restaurant etc.
