A late 18th century French fruitwood (cherry) farmhouse table in original condition with superb patina (colour) - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
The table consists of a three plank top with cleated ends, the top retaining original wear and having a superb patina.
At the end of one side is a pull-out board with brass ring handle leading down to a moulded and shaped rail to all sides, one side having a central drawer with superb original brass handle.
This leads down to the four tapered cabriole legs and terminating with block feet.
This table is very versatile due to it’s size and could be used as a kitchen or dining table as well as a side table etc.
This table is in excellent original condition for age, is of stable construction and is ready to go straight into a home: there is evidence of old woodworm but this has been treated and the table is structurally sound.
