The mirror frame consists of an ebonised and reeded moulding with mahogany cross banding surrounded by ebony stringing, the mahogany panelled back confirming the superb quality of this piece.

The mirror plate consists of original bevelled glass with slight foxing, this is to be expected with original plate of this age.

The mirror frame is supported by finely turned supports, some turnings being ebonised and having turned Classical urns to the top.

These leads down to the base consisting of two turned mahogany and ebonised stretchers supported by reeded splay feet terminating with original brass box castors.

This cheval mirror is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
