A late 18th century mahogany night table of superb patina - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:.
This piece consists of a shaped and pierced gallery to the top supporting a finely figured solid mahogany top of superb patina (colour).
The top front rail has an escutcheon but this is purely for decoration.
This leads down to a sliding tambour cupboard door with two Dutch drop handles, one of these being for decoration only.
Underneath the cupboard are two dummy drawers with a shaped lower frieze, this section slides out to reveal a fine quality mahogany panel.
The legs are an interesting design, being tapered which gives the piece an elegant design.
This night table is in very good condition and can go straight into a home.
