A French early 20th century walnut and Kingwood floral marquetry serpentine commode with marble top - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This highly decorative commode consists of a light grey serpentine shaped marble top with a moulded edge leading down to large Rococo style mounts to either side.
This leads down to three long drawers of walnut with Kingwood panels and floral marquetry decoration, each drawer having Rococo style handles and escutcheons with a shaped apron below with central Rococo style mount and sabots to the front legs.
The side panels are of walnut with large Kingwood panels with floral marquetry decoration.
This piece is in very good condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
