Pair of simulated rosewood Regency chairs

An elegant pair of beech early 19th century simulated rosewood Regency chairs in the manner of Gillows - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

This pair of chairs consist of a top rail with inlaid brass decoration to the centre and a carved anthemion style design to either side with scrolling back rail with central carved fan decoration.

This leads down to caned seats both in good, original condition - the seats could easily have cushions made for them if required.

The front and side rails have a moulded design leading down to sabre legs to the front with turned paterae with outswept legs to the back.

This pair of chairs are in good, original condition, are of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
