A large late 19th century Japanese Meiji period bronze vase of fine quality - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:
This bronze vase consists of a flared rim with geometric decoration to the edge with elephant head decoration.
This leads down to fine relief landscape scenes of birds, trees, floral and foliate chasing with superbly cast relief decoration of an eagle and a dragon to one side with landscape scene with cranes to the other side and stylised elephant handles to either side.
This leads down to further floral and foliate designs with superb dragon decoration and geometric designs below.
This vase is in good condition for age with small imperfection to rim, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
