About LVS Decorative Arts:
LVS Decorative Arts is a small family run business based in Suffolk, specialising in an eclectic mix of both fine quality and decorative antiques from around the world.
We are passionate about good quality antiques, always personally hand-picking our stock, either for sheer quality, rarity, authenticity or fine patination, pieces mainly ranging from early 17thC to early 20thC furniture, bronzes, sculpture as well as fine quality decorative items suitable for any interior, both old and new.
We have had connections with the antiques trade for over 35 years, mainly selling directly to the trade and then over the past 15 years or so selling more to private clients and collectors, interior designers and museums both in the UK and throughout the world - please see our 'Testimonials' section for feedback from our clients.
All furniture is professionally restored to the highest of standards using traditional methods passed down through generations of cabinetmakers and polishers keeping the item in as original condition as possible and conserving original patina (colour) and materials whenever possible, carrying out as much work as possible ourselves as unfortunately good, traditional tradesmen are few and far between these days.
We feel that quality restoration is paramount to the longevity and value of an antique item, this also helping with carbon emissions and sustainability, whereas poor restoration will devalue an item.
We are proud members of LAPADA, the largest association for professional art and antiques dealers in the UK, and also of CINOA, the worldwide association for antique dealers, we are committed in upholding the highest of standards, every customer can be assured that items are described and photographed accurately, all items researched thoroughly when required.
We are predominantly an online business and therefore all our stock listed for sale has a full description and a range of photographs that can be viewed, we also offer a ‘By Appointment’ option for clients who wish to view an item before purchasing, please arrange this with us a few days in advance.
When considering purchasing antique items please bear in mind that antique items for sale may have some wear and marks commensurate with their age which adds to the character of the piece.

TERMS OF SALE:
Customers purchasing items over the internet can be assured that we offer a 14 day returns policy in the unlikely event you are not satisfied with your purchase.
We will issue a full refund less the RETURN transport/courier costs once the item is returned back to us in the same condition as when it left us and with the same courier, the return fee should be the same as the delivery fee and no more, estimate for general piece of furniture within mainland UK £70 - £120 plus vat - this could be more or less depending on the item and the delivery location.
The refund will be be made no later than 14 days after the day we receive the goods back from you.
Cancellation forms can be forwarded to you on request.
