Early 20thc Derbyshire Blue John Vase:

Dear Liza,

The Blue - Juene baluster shaped vase which I purchased from you a couple of days ago, arrived by special Royal Mail delivery service, well before the allotted deadline time today. Your careful packing was quite impressive and could only be surpassed by the quality of the antique treasure itself, as it was everything that I hoped it would be and more.

Sometimes, a well positioned picture online can lead to disappointment when viewed in the flesh, so to speak, but in this case I was quite taken aback by the natural beauty of the piece and its condition.

As this was intended to be a surprise gift to my wife on a special anniversary in October, she was not supposed to see it until the day in question but , having been swept along by the beauty of the piece, I could not help but abandon the idea of a delayed surprise and I simply had to present it to her today and how pleased I am that I did as she was absolutely speechless in the best possible way.

Please accept our thanks for the way the business was conducted and for the doubtless pleasure this treasure will give us for years to come.
