Qing Dynasty Chinese hardwood centre table

A superb quality late 19th century Qing Dynasty Chinese hardwood centre table with marble top - ADDITIONAL IMAGES CAN BE VIEWED BELOW:

The top consists of a rectangular rouge marble top surrounded by a moulded edge.

This leads down to a superb quality pierced and carved frieze, this frieze being on all four sides of the table.

The top section of the frieze having a pierced design following down to superbly carved foliate and floral  designs including lotus flowers. 

This leads down to a carved and pierced section consisting of scrolling foliage, lotus flowers and Chinese symbols with carved and pierced brackets to the top of the legs.

The legs are carved with floral and foliate designs and carved scrolls terminating with a paw foot.

This table could be used as a centre table or equally  as a console table or side table or as a stand for a superb bronze etc.

This table is in excellent condition for age, is of stable construction and can go straight into a home.
